This month, students are working together towards a common goal. They have been spending the last several months raising funds to start a new program here in North Valley. As of last month, they have raised $20,000 for their new project.
Starting October 31st, 2026 the students in North Valley will be working together on building a sustainable habitat for the bald eagles that are occasionally spotted around the school grounds. They will be installing a new web camera that contains a live feed so they're always able to keep an eye on their feathered friends.
Through this effort, they hope to bring awareness to the eagle's natural habitat that has recently come under some pressure from local logging initiatives.
